Maihaugen
Norway´s larges and one of the country´s most beautiful open-air museum. Maihaugen can tempt you with 200 historic buildings from the 13th century to the present day, exiting exhibitions and great dining experiences. There are also several activities aimed at children.
Skibladner "White swan of Mjøsa"
DS Skibladner is the world´s oldest paddle steamer, which still runs regular traffic on Mjøsa. Take a trip with Skiblander from Lillehammer to Moelv, Gjøvik or Hamar. Here you can enjoy a traditional meal at one of the district´s leading eateries.
Bjerkebæk
Welcome home to Sigrid Undset. Bjerkebæk consists of several buildings: "Røssum" and Dalseg" which were Sigrid Undset´s home, with "Gjestehuset" - an annex in the garden. The area also has an audience buiding, museum shop, lecture hall and a café.
The Norwegian Olympic Museum
A modern and interactive museum that you will find in the visitor center at Maihaugen. The museum playfully takes you on a journey through time from antiquity to the modern Olympic Games.
Aulestad
Welcome to Bjørnstjernes Bjørnsson`s home, which is one of Noway´s best-preserved artists` homes. The Nobel Prize winner lived here with his family until he died in 1910. aulestad is located i Gausdal, 20 minutes from Lillehammer.
